Never Boring AI (at neverboring.ai) is an AI agent that helps independent professionals build their LinkedIn presence: editorial programmes, post writing and editorial guidance.

Independent from LinkedIn. Never Boring AI is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or backed by LinkedIn Corporation or Microsoft. LinkedIn is a registered trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. Any reference to LinkedIn on this site refers solely to the platform where you publish your content.

Account. Email address, first name, profile picture (if you add one), password (stored only in encrypted form) or Google identifier if you sign in with Google.

Editorial profile and content. The information you provide to tailor your agent (activity, offer, ideal client, goals, tone, writing style), your stories, your conversations with the agent, the memory it builds, as well as your posts and programmes.

Billing. Your subscription plan and billing history. Payment is handled by Stripe: your card number never passes through our servers and is never stored there.

Usage and technical data. Usage counters (quotas), technical logs of AI calls (volumes, statuses), product usage events and, for improvement purposes, recordings of browsing sessions inside the application.

How you found us. The site, campaign or referral link you first arrived through, and the path of your visits across our public pages before you signed up. This stays with us and serves only to understand what brings people to the service. It is collected only if you have not declined audience measurement (section 8).

Support. The messages you send us through the support chat or by email.

LinkedIn connection. If you connect your LinkedIn account, we keep your member identifier and the technical access that allows acting in your name. This access is used to publish your posts and their first comment, collect your statistics (views, reactions, followers), read your profile and posts to set up your agent and tune how it writes, read the comments left under your recent posts when you ask for topic ideas, and search for the people and pages you want to mention. If you use the Comments page, it is also used to read the posts of the profiles you choose to follow, and to publish your reactions and comments on them. Your statistics are also used to suggest old posts to recycle and to write a review of your posts. Nothing goes out without an action from you: an approval, or an automatic mode you turned on yourself. A specialised provider handles this connection (section 5). You can revoke this access at any time from your settings or from your LinkedIn account.

Free trial. During the free trial, your LinkedIn account is connected through LinkedIn's official access and is used only to publish your posts. To set up your agent, we read your public LinkedIn profile and your recent public posts from the profile address you give us: a provider that reads public data handles this (section 5), and only your profile's public identifier is sent to it. Because the trial is offered once per LinkedIn account, we keep a fingerprint of your LinkedIn member identifier (irreversible, the identifier itself is not in it), on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse. It is kept for as long as your account exists, then for 30 days after it is deleted (section 6).

Free profile audit tool. When you ask for the audit of a LinkedIn profile on our site, we read the public version of that profile and its recent public posts from the address provided: the provider that reads public data handles this (section 5), and only the profile's public identifier is sent to it. The profile and a few posts are sent to our language model provider to write the audit, which is emailed to the address given. The profile and posts we read are not stored once the audit is sent. Your first name and email address join our mailing list, which you can leave at any time, and we keep an irreversible fingerprint of the email address so that the audit is offered only once.

Other free tools. The free generators on our site (hooks, post ideas, profile headline, turning a piece of content into a post) send what you type to our language model provider to produce the result, which is emailed to the address given. What you type and what is generated are not stored. Your first name and email address join our mailing list, which you can leave at any time, and we keep an irreversible fingerprint of the email address so that each tool is offered only once. The tools with no email (preview and formatting, engagement rate calculator, hooks library) run in your browser and send us nothing. The writing tics detector sends your text to our server for the calculation, with no language model, and does not store it.

Comments left under your posts. When you ask for topic ideas drawn from your comments, we read the comments on at most five of your recent posts, at most once a day. The full text of comments is not kept: for a selected idea, we keep only an excerpt of the comment that inspired it (280 characters at most) and its author's first name, both erased as soon as you use or dismiss the idea. These comments are public on your own posts, and processing them relies on our legitimate interest in helping you respond to your audience.

Followed profiles and their posts. On the Comments page, you choose LinkedIn profiles to follow (up to 30). We keep their name, headline, identifier and photo address, all public, and we collect their new public posts several times a day: text, date, link, references to visuals and counters. The text of those posts is sent to the AI model (section 4) to write a summary and draft a comment for you. The reactions and comments you approve are published from your LinkedIn account; if you turn on automatic mode, they go out without each one being approved, within your plan's daily limit, and you can turn it off at any time. This data is kept with your account, for the history of your comments, and deleted with it; removing a profile erases its pending drafts. Those posts are public, and processing them relies on our legitimate interest in helping you engage with the people you follow.

People and pages you mention. When you mention a person or a page in a post, we keep their public LinkedIn name and identifier with that post, so it can be published with the tag.

Providing the service (performance of the contract): creating your account, tailoring your agent, generating your posts and programmes, managing your quotas and your subscription.

Writing to you (performance of the contract): account emails (sign-in, confirmation), billing emails and publishing reminders. Reminders can be switched off in Settings > Notifications. You may also be added to our newsletter (legitimate interest): every send carries an unsubscribe link.

Improving the product (legitimate interest): audience measurement and usage analysis.

Preventing fraud and abuse (legitimate interest): bot protection at sign-up, usage limits, detection of service misuse.

Content generation runs on Anthropic's Claude models. To produce your posts and replies, the necessary elements (editorial profile, content, messages to the agent, and, when you use those features, your LinkedIn posts with their statistics and the comments they received, as well as the text of the posts from the profiles you follow) are sent to Anthropic as a processor. Under Anthropic's policy for API customers, this data is not used to train their models.

Never Boring AI makes no automated decision producing legal effects concerning you: generated content is a set of suggestions you remain free to edit, publish or discard. Only the automatic mode of the Comments page, which only you can turn on, publishes comments without each one being reviewed.

We never sell your data. It is processed by the following providers, strictly for the purposes of the service:

Transfers outside the European Union are covered by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

While you use the service: your data is kept for as long as your account is active.

When the account is deleted: your data (profile, content, conversations, memory) is deleted for good. A technical fingerprint of your email address (irreversible, the address itself is not kept) is retained to prevent account-creation abuse. If you connected a LinkedIn account, the fingerprint of its member identifier (also irreversible) is kept for 30 days after the account is deleted, then erased: during that time, the free trial cannot be reopened with the same LinkedIn account.

Legal obligations: billing documents are kept for the periods the law requires (up to 10 years).

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection over your data.

You can exercise most of these directly in the application: permanent account deletion and clearing of the agent's memory in Settings > Privacy, and profile changes at any time. For anything else, write to hello@neverboring.ai: we reply within 30 days at the latest.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority (cnil.fr).

In-house audience measurement. We count visits to our public pages to know where our visitors come from. This measurement stays with us: it is passed to no one, follows you onto no other site, and keeps neither your IP address nor anything that could identify you. What we keep is the page visited, the site you arrived from, any campaign parameters present in the link, the estimated country, region and city, plus the device type, browser and operating system, for 13 months at most. Our short links (neverboring.ai/l/…) count each visit the same way: the site you clicked from, the estimated country and the device type, never your IP address. We also record the links you click on our pages: their label, the page you click from and their destination. For a link to another site we keep only the domain name, never the full address; for a contact link, only the fact that it was an email or a phone number, never the address or the number itself. We read nothing of what you type into a form. It runs without asking for your consent, which the regulation allows on these precise conditions, and you can decline it here:

If you create an account. When you sign up, we attach to your account the origin of your very first visit: the site or campaign that brought you. This tells us what makes the service known, and lets us reconstruct, for our internal use only, the path that led to your sign-up. This is done once and is never passed to a third party. If you decline the measurement above, nothing is attached, and if you decline afterwards, the origin held in your browser is erased. You can ask for this link to be deleted at any time (section 7).

Google Analytics and PostHog. These two third-party tools go further: Google Analytics counts visits to the public pages of the site, PostHog observes how the service is used inside the application, including recording browsing sessions. Neither loads at all until you have accepted them in the banner shown on your first visit: if you decline, neither is run and none of their cookies is set.

Active whatever your choice: the storage of your sign-in session and the hCaptcha bot protection on the sign-in and sign-up forms. No advertising cookie, no resale of browsing data.

You can change your mind about the two third-party tools at any time:

Data encrypted in transit (TLS), database hosted in the European Union with per-user access isolation, passwords stored in encrypted form, administrator access restricted and logged.

Never Boring AI is aimed at professionals. The service is not intended for people under 16.

This policy may change as the product does. If a change is substantial, we will tell you by email or in the application. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
